This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Guests may request a refund for sessions booked on the Sessionscape platform. Please note that individual Hosts may have their own cancellation policies, which will be displayed on the session booking page.

2. Host Cancellation Policy

Each Host sets their own cancellation policy, which will be clearly displayed on the session description page. It is your responsibility as a Guest to review and understand the Host's cancellation policy before booking a session.

3. Guest Cancellation and Refunds

3.1 Refund Eligibility:

  • You may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on the Host's cancellation policy and the time of your cancellation request.
  • You can initiate a refund request through the "Apply for Refund" button within the booking details section of your Sessionscape dashboard.

3.2 Refund Window:

  • If you cancel your booking within the timeframe specified by the Host's cancellation policy, a refund will be automatically processed by Stripe.
  • The specific timeframe will vary depending on the Host's policy.
  • You can find the details in the session description and your booking confirmation email.

3.3 Refund Processing:

  • Once you submit a refund request within the valid timeframe, Sessionscape will initiate the refund process through Stripe.
  • Refunds are typically processed by Stripe within 5-10 business days. The actual time may vary depending on your bank or financial institution.

3.4 Non-Refundable Scenarios:

  • You will not be eligible for a refund if you cancel outside of the Host's cancellation window.
  • Additionally, refunds will not be issued for:
    • No-shows (failure to attend the booked session)
    • Sessions cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Host's control (e.g., weather emergencies)

4. Disputes and Inquiries

If you have any questions or disputes regarding a refund, please contact the Host directly. Sessionscape may be able to assist in mediating the situation, but ultimately, the Host is responsible for handling refund requests within their policy guidelines.

5. Sessionscape Role

Sessionscape acts as a marketplace platform facilitating connections between Hosts and Guests. We process payments securely through Stripe and initiate refunds automatically within the valid timeframe as defined by the Host's policy. We are not responsible for determining the specific refund amount or handling disputes related to cancellations outside the Host's cancellation window.
